Lend & Gather was born in Austin, TX in 2016 as a collaborative project between RW Elephant and Loot Rentals to inspire and connect specialty event rental professionals. L&G then took it to the streets of Brooklyn, New York in 2017 where we elevated the event rental industry together. In January of 2020, Lend & Gather brought industry pros from multiple countries and continents to Downtown Los Angeles, California for an inspiring experience.
Lend & Gather 2022 turned up the heat for our fourth conference hosted for boutique event rental professionals in Miami, Florida. Attendees started their experience by heading to the top of the Penthouse at Riverside Wharf to enjoy the Miami skyline enhanced with inspiring tablescapes by Unearthed Rentals lined with whimsical florals arranged by Flormosura.
Once ushered inside the Penthouse, Unearthed Rentals created a welcoming atmosphere of soft seating for attendees to soak in the days of learning. Over 70 professionals in the event rental industry came from around North America (US & Canada) to glean from speakers and peers.

The value of the relationships made in this environment can’t be overstated. Learning from the lessons of your peers, developing friendships, hearing stories of triumph and hardship, and knowing you aren’t alone is so heartening for boutique event rental pros.
The Lend & Gather conference in Miami was all about making connections including a sponsorship with Instawork that helps businesses connect with workers when you need an extra hand. Instawork sponsored an afternoon coffee break that provided just the boost attendees needed to continue soaking in knowledge for the rest of the day. Additionally, Instawork delivery workers enhanced the set-up and tear-down crews to bring the conference itself to life!
The American Rental Association created an authentic Miami experience with a create-your-own Paleta bar to sweeten attendees’ days.
Attendees spent the evening at the rooftop bar of the Moxie Hotel for a taco and cocktail shindig presented by RhinOPSeros with a mirror photobooth by Picture This Events so attendees could connect and unwind after a long day of learning.
The conference was wrapped up with a live podcast recording of the Trunk Show with RW Elephant. Podcast Host, Allison Howell, interviewed Pablo Oliveiria about his expansive growth with Nuage Designs and expertise in the hospitality of event rentals.
